Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop - Sept - Follow Your Art

Good Day Crafty Friends

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! 2019 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop for September. You are currently visiting Jackie Aitken in Western Australia. I am so excited about this month's Blog Hop, the Artisan Design Team have so many amazing projects to share.
With the current Designer Series Paper Sale in full swing, this Blog Hop has loads of inspiring ideas's using suites that include Designer Series Paper that are part of this promotion. Purchase any 3 Designer Series Paper Packs from the select list and receive the 4th Pack free.

DSP included in this promotion can be found in the 2019 Annual Catalogue:
Magnolia Lane, Garden Lane, Follow Your Art, Woven Threads - Page 165
Dinoroar, Bird Ballad, See A Silhouette, Perennial Essence - Page 166
Come Sail Away, Pressed Petals - Page 167

I had the pleasure of creating with the Follow Your Art Suite (Page 53 Annual Catalogue). Such an extensive suite which has the most delightful collection of coordinating products: Stamps, Dies, Embossing Folder, Embellishment Kits, Designer Series Paper, Washi Tape and Mini Shipping Boxes.

I absolutely adore the Art & Craft Dies! They cut beautifully and are just so darn cute. Those buttons!!! There are three border dies one of which is also a line of buttons! Looking at my samples you may notice I have also used images from the Crafting Forever stamp set. This stamp set works perfectly with the Follow Your Art Suite.

The first card I have to share with you today has been created using torn pieces of DSP. I chose a variety of different coloured pieces and stamped the letters "create" using the Lined Alphabet Stamp Set (Page 159 Annual Catalogue). These pieces were then sewn onto a Whisper White card front that has been embossed using the Scripty Embossing Folder. Stamped images and die cuts were added along with the heat embossed sentiment.

For the next card I have used a water colour washed card front adhered to a panel of Follow Your Art DSP. A few stamped images, coloured using Stampin' Blends and die cut using the Art & Craft Dies were added. An index card which has been cut down and used for the sentiment has been adhered to the card front with Multi Purpose Adhesive with the stamped images adhered using mini dimensionals.

I have used my third card design to decorate an Acetate Card Box. DSP has been used as a band around the Acetate Box (which did you know, holds seven Stampin' Blend markers perfectly). Blushing Bride Card stock has been used for the base with a panel of DSP adhered over the top. Stamped images from It Starts With Art & Crafting Forever, along with a Glue Gun fussy cut from DSP has been scattered around the Heat Embossed Sentiment.

Next is a little Pen Box. The outside has been kept simple with a panel of DSP covering the So Saffron Box exterior. The Sentiment from Follow Your Art stamp set has been White Heat Embossed onto Black card stock and die cut using an Oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Inside the Pen Box

And finally, a little Craft Room in a Box. Lots of different pieces of the Follow Your Art DSP has been used for this Box Card - floors, rug, table top, folders, card pocket, utensil holders, clipboard, books and fussy cut images like the ink pads and ink refills.

Buttons have been used for the drawer handles, die cut in Mint Macaron and threaded with White Bakers Twine. To create the heat tool gun, I have snipped the end of an old pair of ear buds and adhered the cord to the wall with a strong adhesive. The little clipboard is simply a piece of Sahara Sand card with some DSP and a Mini Library Clip.

Fussy cut images from the Designer Series Paper were used to fill the Utensil containers, the Ink Pads on the desk and Ink refills in the shelf.  The sponge dish is simply a die cut circle with a snippet of sponge glued inside. The folders on the shelf are scored pieces of DSP with black circles adhered to the "spine". Folded strips of coloured card were used to fill the other shelves. A little pocket envelope on the left hand side holds a card with space to write a message.

That is all from me today.  Be sure to follow the Hop all the way through for more details about all the crazy awesome projects the ADT have to share with you using Designer Series Paper that are included in the DSP Promotion.

Up next is super talented Jennifer Picard with her absolutely adorable creations. Enjoy xx
