Go follow us on Instagram and Facebook - @stampinfancyfriday. Stay inspired. See you there!

I am absolutely obsessed with the Tropical Oasis suite, in particular the gorgeous images in the Memories & More card pack. While watching a few episodes of Vikings on Netflix, I fussy cut a whole heap of images and played around with ideas's for shaker cards.

Fancy Friday, Jaxx Crafty Creations, Tropical Oasis

All three creations feature different pieces of the Memories & More cards. The first has a basic oval shaped die cut from the card front, which was lined with gold polka dot vellum before adding sequins. The vellum along with the foliage are from the Sale-A-Bration kit called Kerchief. The fussy cut flamingo and hibiscus flowers have been adhered with mini dimensionals along with the medium sized Punched Daisy.

The next card was super easy to construct. I have simply fussy cut the floral frame from one of the large Memories & More cards, adhered Acetate with Multi Purpose Glue and then bent Foam Strips around the edge. I like to place the shaker elements in the centre of the card front and then adhere the shaker front over the top. If I don't do it this way, I end up with the insides shaker bits stuck to the foam strips and it all ends in disaster and eventually the rubbish bin!

The final card again uses one of the fussy cut Tropical Oasis Memories & More cards to create the frame for my shaker element. The foam strips for this one did require cutting down a little to fit the thin sized frame. Before adhering to the card front, which has been splattered with Flirty Flamingo ink, I added a circle of twine. The fussy cut "woody" car and a few stickers from the Card Pack were also added. To finish the card and somewhat balance the busy card front, I added a strip of bright colour by chopping up yet another M & M card and adding it to the left hand side of the card base.

That is all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to continue hopping for more Shaker inspired projects from the Fancy Friday Design Team.  Up next in this astonishing line up of former and continuing Artisans is Jennifer Smith Sootkoos with her beautiful creation. Enjoy xx

Be Inspired Blog Hop - Love

Good Day Crafty Friends

Welcome to the Be Inspired Blog Hop for January. This month the talented Design Team are sharing inspirational projects with a LOVE theme, just in time for Valentine's Day!

My Hubby isn't a fan of Pink or Reds so I had to be a little more creative with his card and decided to go with a colour palette not normally associated with all the lovey dovey colours of Valentine's - Black, Yellow & White.

Random Fact lol - the starting point for my creation was the cute little envelope that was in one of our projects at Onstage in November! I never do my make and takes at these events, instead I bring all the bits and pieces home and fiddle with them later.

Starting with the little Best Dressed Envelope, added some foliage and a punched Daisy with one of those uber cool fluffy embellishments for the centre. A few white heat embossed hearts from the Meant to Be Stamp Set with a couple of black sequins and all the "pretties" are done. Oh dear, I forgot to mention the little tuffs of Polka Dot Ribbon (barely visible lol) and that some of the foliage pieces are from the Sale-A-Bration Kit called Kerchief.

Next, I took the embellished envelope and adhered it to a piece of So Saffron Vellum that has been embossed with the Parisian Embossing Folder. A layer of Whisper White and then this was adhered to the card front which has a panel of the Golden Honey DSP (this DSP is from the Sale-A-Promotion).

That is all from me today. Be sure to keep looking through the Be Inspired Blog Hop as the Design Team have gone all out with this months theme and you are sure to get loads of inspiring ideas for Love Themed creations.

Up next is my super talented friend Manuela Geiswinkler with her delightful project. Enjoy!! Until next time stay awesome and stay crafty

How gorgeous is the Blog Hop inspiration picture!!! I was so inspired by the stunning colours I decided to start my creations with this colour palette in mind. The floral images in the Tropical Oasis Memories & More cards were the perfect fit for what I was designing in my head and worked wonderfully with the colour combination.

I absolutely adore anything with a Tropical theme, especially floral's, pineapples and flamingos. The Memories & More card pack has so many delicious images, it was hard choosing images to fussy cut for today's Blog Hop projects.

For this bright and colourful creation I started with a piece of Shimmery White card stock and sponged Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo ink. Next, I spritzed the sponging with water and once dry, I cut into strips and applied them to a Whisper White card front. The fussy cut image from one of the Tropical Oasis Memories & More cards has been adhered with dimensionals along with Gold Foil leaves and tag with sentiment.

Stampin' Up! have so many wonderfully detailed Embossing Folders in the current catalogues, which I find myself reaching for often, in fact I'm finding more often than not I have an embossed panel or card front for most of my creations. This card uses the new beautiful Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder. I have also added some Mint Macaron DSP, Blushing Bride card stock die cuts and the fussy cut tropical image - from the Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack.

That is all from me today. We would love for you and your crafty friends to play along, if you have a blog you can add your creation to the Just Add Ink gallery here. Don't have your own blog? No problem! Just send us an email  to  just-add-ink@hotmail.com with a photo attachment. We will upload it to our challenge entry blog for you. Just be sure to use the inspiration picture and Celebration theme for your creation.

Up next in this special Just Add Ink Blog Hop is my super duper fabulously awesome friend, Kelly Kent with her amazing creation - enjoy.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Sale-A-Bration

Good Day Crafty Friends

Welcome to the first Stamping Sunday Blog Hop for 2020. I hope you, your family and friends had an enjoyable and safe festive season. I am excited to be back creating again after a little break over Christmas.

This month's Blog Hop is all about Sale-A-Bration. What is Sale-A-Bration? Only the best time of year in the Stampin' Up! hemisphere. With the release of the new Mini Catalogue and all the new products, now is the perfect time to stock up on all your Stampin' Up! items because for every AUD$90 you spend during 3 Jan- 31 March 2020 you will earn FREE items from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

My FAVOURITE freebie from the Sale-A-Bration promotion is the Golden Honey DSP Pack. I am such a fan of the black and white striped DSP, I think it should be a staple and may just have to sandbox that idea lol. However, I chose to use another pattern for the cards I have to share today.

I have teamed a variety of embossing folders, Blushing Bride and Gold Foil card stock with the Gold Foil patterned DSP to create the card fronts. I really like the broken gold foil stripes in this DSP and thought it would look lovely with soft muted colours.

I have angled the DSP and card stock panels for a bit of interest and then added fussy cut black and white flower images and Gold Bees from DSP - also from the same DSP pack just a different sheet to the one used for the card front. Heat embossed sentiments and die cuts in Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam and Gold Foil were also added.

Each card has different embellishments: gold metallic thread, Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon, Gold Glitter dots and Champagne Rhinestone jewels.

That is all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting our blogs. Be sure to keep hopping for more inspirational and creative projects from the Stamping Sunday Design Team using our favourite Sale-A-Bration items.

Until next time, stay awesome and stay crafty

Colour INKspiration #70 Birthdays

Hello Hello

Welcome to the first Colour INKspiration Challenge for 2020. To kick off the New Year and celebrate 3 years of Colour INKspiration Challenges we have a fun Birthday themed Blog Hop! And to spice things up a little more each Design Team member was able to chose three of their favourite colours to use in combination with the Birthday Theme for this Blog Hop.

My gorgeous friend and fellow Colour INKer, Leonie Stuart, chose this colour combination and seeing I loved it so much I decided to use it too - Thanks, Leonie xx

I have a couple of cards to share with you today. To achieve the majority of my chosen colour combination I have used cardstock scraps in Night of Navy and Melon Mambo.

The first card has a background made up of four strips of card stock, two each of Melon Mambo and Night of Navy. The floral bouquet image from the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set has been stamped in Night of Navy ink, fussy cut and adhered under the heat embossed sentiment.

The second card has a diagonally striped panel made from Melon Mambo and Night of Navy card stock. This panel was cut down and adhered to the Tile embossed card front. The image from Free As A Bird has been stamped in Night of Navy ink, fussy cut and then adhered over the striped panel with dimensionals.

I have used the sentiment "celebrate today" which is part of a kit called Kerchief and can be earned FREE with any AUD$90 purchase during Sale-a-bration.

INKspired to join the challenge? It's so easy. Firstly, get some INKspiration by hopping around to see what all of the Colour INKspiration Crew have to show you. TGIF #246 - Sketch

Hello Crafty Friends

Welcome to 2020 and my first hop with the talented TGIF Challenges Design Team. If you're new to the TGIF Challenges, each Friday, we offer a new themed challenge for you to play along with. Be sure to check out the main blog for more details, inspiration, and the challenge guidelines.

This week's challenge is a sketch. Sketch challenges are one of my favourites as you get to see how differently creative minds work which is evident by the variety in the projects produced.

I found this sketch was perfect for using up those last bits of your favourite Designer Series Paper. I started with an embossed card front - made with the Scripty Embossing Folder. Then, using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, I die cut the five black and white panel pieces from the FREE Sale-a-bration DSP called Golden Honey - love love love the black and white stripes!!!!

I decided to mix a few different elements from the Tropical Oasis suite with the Peaceful Poppies suite. I took the sentiment from Timeless Tropical and stamped it onto a sticker that is part of the Tropical Oasis Memories & More card pack.

Next, I added a couple of the Peaceful Poppies Elements under the corners of the sentiment panel and the detailed bands die cut to create the a little more interest.  Dimensionals were used to adhere the sentiment focal point to the centre of the card front. A couple of Basic Pearl Jewels were added to finish the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, we appreciate the time you have invested to visit our blogs. The TGIF Team would love it if you could join in on the fun! Come check out the TGIF Challenges Blog for more information and more challenges.  Participants will have until the following Thursday at 10am PST to post your projects to the TGIF Blog Page. Don't forget to add the hashtag #tgifc246 when you share so we can see what you come up with!

Until next time stay awesome and stay crafty

One Stamp At A Time - Poppies/Paris/Purses - New Mini

Hello Crafty Friends

Welcome to the first One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop for 2020. Yay!!!! To kick off the New Year we are showcasing some of the fantastic products available in the new Mini Catalogue. Our theme for January is Poppies/Paris/Purses - all of which can be found in the new catalogue.

My creations today use the Poppy Moments Dies but I haven't used them to create Poppies.  For the first two cards, I decided to pair the die cuts with some Gold and Black striped DSP.

The Gold Foil striped DSP is from the Golden Honey DSP Pack which can be earned FREE during Sale-A-Bration. There are 12 sheets of gorgeous patterns to chose from and has been designed to pair with the Honey Bee Bundle (which is also available in the Mini Catalogue). However, true to my style I went outside the norm and chose to team different products from different bundles.

To tie the floral die cuts in with the bold striped pattern, gold foil die cuts and heat embossed sentiments have been used along with glimmer paper and sequins.

Being a huge fan of texture I was excited to see so many new embossing folders in the mini catalogue and couldn't resist adding another to my collection.  The final card I have to share today uses the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder to create the background.

That is all from me today. Be sure to keep hopping through the Blog Hop for loads more inspiring ideas and projects shared by the talented One Stamp At A Time Design Team.

Until next time, stay awesome and stay crafty
