Just Add Ink #488 Blog Hop

Good Day Crafty Friends

Welcome to Just Add Ink Challenge #488  - The first JAI challenge for 2020!! I am super excited to be Hopping with my Just Add Ink friends as we celebrate 10 years of Just Add Ink Challenges & 1000 Facebook Followers with a special Blog Hop. How amazing is TEN years!!! Just Add Ink was my first ever Design Team and I am so proud to belong to a creative community that has such amazing longevity with so many talented designers, past and present. To top it off, the Just Add Ink Design Team has also had its fair share of Stampin' Up! Artisan's too, with Narelle & Rochelle being re-selected for the 2020 ADT!! Wahoooooo!!!

As part of our milestone celebrations the design team are offering prizes. Our Top Pick & Honourable Mentions will receive a special gift. We'll be choosing some other entries to receive a little something also - to be eligible all you have to do is leave a comment on each of the blogs along the hop - 14 stops in total. Prizes include stamp sets, card kits, embossing folders, ribbons, rhinestones, handmade cards/tags....

PLEASE NOTE: Prizes are only eligible to South Pacific (Australia & New Zealand) entries - sorry to those of you from all around the world, postage prices are very steep these days.

How gorgeous is the Blog Hop inspiration picture!!! I was so inspired by the stunning colours I decided to start my creations with this colour palette in mind. The floral images in the Tropical Oasis Memories & More cards were the perfect fit for what I was designing in my head and worked wonderfully with the colour combination.

I absolutely adore anything with a Tropical theme, especially floral's, pineapples and flamingos. The Memories & More card pack has so many delicious images, it was hard choosing images to fussy cut for today's Blog Hop projects.

For this bright and colourful creation I started with a piece of Shimmery White card stock and sponged Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo ink. Next, I spritzed the sponging with water and once dry, I cut into strips and applied them to a Whisper White card front. The fussy cut image from one of the Tropical Oasis Memories & More cards has been adhered with dimensionals along with Gold Foil leaves and tag with sentiment.

Stampin' Up! have so many wonderfully detailed Embossing Folders in the current catalogues, which I find myself reaching for often, in fact I'm finding more often than not I have an embossed panel or card front for most of my creations. This card uses the new beautiful Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder. I have also added some Mint Macaron DSP, Blushing Bride card stock die cuts and the fussy cut tropical image - from the Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack.

That is all from me today. We would love for you and your crafty friends to play along, if you have a blog you can add your creation to the Just Add Ink gallery here. Don't have your own blog? No problem! Just send us an email  to with a photo attachment. We will upload it to our challenge entry blog for you. Just be sure to use the inspiration picture and Celebration theme for your creation.

Up next in this special Just Add Ink Blog Hop is my super duper fabulously awesome friend, Kelly Kent with her amazing creation - enjoy.
