OSAT Blog Hop - Holiday Festival

Hello Hello Crafty Friends
OSAT
Welcome to the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop for November. We are hopping a week earlier this month as many Stampin' Up! Demonstrators all over the globe are about embark on travels for the bi-annual Stampin' Up! convention next weekend. Wahoooooo! I am so excited to see all my Stamping friends.

Our theme this month is HOLIDAY FESTIVAL in particular a WINTER Holiday Festival. Being from Australia, this was the perfect opportunity for me to create some 'snowy' Christmas projects.

Christmas Card, Holiday Festival, OSAT Blog Hop, Christmas Rose, Holly Jolly Christmas, Christmas Gleaming, Mini Pizza Box

To create the card I started with the creation of the background - taking a piece of Shimmery White card, I white heat embossed the snowflake image from Seasonal Wreaths stamp set. Coastal Cabana and Pacific Point inks were then sponged over the top.

The fairy image from the New Wonders stamp set has been coloured with Stampin' Blends, fussy cut and adhered to the card front with mini dimensionals.

A couple of felt embellishments from the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit have been adhered to the fairy to keep her warm as she writes her festive message.  The "merry christmas" greeting from Christmas Rose stamp set has been white heat embossed onto Black card, fussy cut and adhered with mini dimensionals over the holly image, which is from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.

The Sparkle Glimmer "snow" covered ground looked a tad bare so I added a couple of stamped tree images from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set.

To decorate the exterior of the mini Pizza Box, I have taken a piece of Feels Like Frost 6"x 6" DSP, the silver and white side, and applied Pacific Point ink with a sponge. Once I was happy with the ink coverage, I cut the sponged DSP down to fit the panels of the box.

Real Red Curly Ribbon has been wrapped around the exterior of the Pizza Box, tied into a bow and added a decorated Stitched die cut circle tag. The tree image from Perfectly Plaid stamp set has been inked in Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green inks and then punched with the coordination punch. I also added a  snowflake that  has been die cut from a left over piece of the sponged DSP and stitched red heart.

That is all from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by and Hopping with us. If you are attending an Onstage Event next week - Safe Travels! If you want to know more about these uber FUN events, contact your Demonstrator for more information.

Be sure to keep hopping through the participant list for loads more inspiring creations with this months HOLIDAY FESTIVAL THEME.  Until next time, stay awesome xx

  4. I love these projects! Am a bit confused! How did you die cut your snow? I can't help myself, I smile every time I see this card! Thank you for broadening my focus to use different components of stamp sets with other supplies. Your Silver Christmas tree reflects your colors, beautifully!
