Dazzling Diamonds & First Frost

Good Day Crafty Friends,

The Frosted Floral Suite is absolutely stunning. The coordinating items that make up this gorgeous suite can be found in the new Holiday Catalogue on Pages 37-38.

Part of the suite is the First Frost stamp set #148420 which I have used to create today's card.

The floral images have been stamped and sponged with Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo inks, on the edge of a piece of whisper white cardstock and then fussy cut.

To get the Dazzling Diamonds to adhere to the stamped images, I took a thin paintbrush and dabbed it into Tombow Multipurpose Glue and painted the flowers with a thin even coat. Then simply pour over some Dazzling Diamonds and let dry or if your patience filter is absent (like mine) then you can use a heat gun to dry the Tombow.

Before adhering the cardfront to the base,  the sentiment was gold heat embossed and then layered over a piece of Highland Heather cardstock.

That is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by, until next time, stay awesome, stay organised and stay crafty

First Frost Stamp Set - 2018 Holiday Catalogue

Hellllo Crafty Friends,

Happy Festive Season!!! Lol. No, but seriously, its Holiday Catalogue time and Oh My....Just when you thought you had enough stamp sets, Stampin Up release amazing stunning coordinated bundles that you just have to have - making crafting for Christmas easy peasy.

To view the HOLIDAY CATALOGUE - click here.

After the Christmas Section and Before the Halloween portion of the catalogue are generalised products that can be used for any occasion.

The FIRST FROST stamp set (page 37 item # 148420) was one of the first suites I was drawn to when I first glanced at the catalogue. The images have a water colour wash effect to them, and produce soft and subtle stamped images which I just adore.

For this card I chose to use one of the smaller images in the set. I have repeatedly stamped the image in different coloured inks - Soft Sea Foam, Highland Heather and Coastal Cabana onto a panel of whisper white card stock.

The stamped panel was then covered in Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive using a flat tipped paint brush and covered with Dazzling Diamonds. After leaving the panel to dry overnight, it is okay to touch without collecting any glitter.

A panel of white craft foam has been adhered to the backside of the panel using Tombow Adhesive and then adhered to the Sahara Sand card front.

Using the 3/4" circle punch, I punched a half circle on both sides of the Sahara Sand card stock and wrapped some Neutral twine, before attaching the twine bow. With all the glitter on the front panel, I decided to leave the card as is and stamp a sentiment on the inside.

Thanks for stopping by today. I will have more cards to share using this gorgeous stamp set soon, along with a few Christmas items from the new catalogue.

Until next time, stay awesome, stay organised and stay crafty.
