Good Day Crafty Friends,
Happy New Year and Happy Sale-a-Bration!!! I love free product....who doesn't? I joined Stampin' Up! during a Sale-a-bration, so I know from a demonstrator and customer point of view - it is the best time to purchase all those Stampin' Up! products that have been on your wish list. In Australia, for every $90 you spend on product you get to chose a free item from the Sale-a-bration brochure.
Today I am excited to share my One Pack Wonder using the Free SAB Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack. With White Card Bases, Embossing Folders and the Cake Soirée Stamp Set, I was able to create 44 Cards. There are 23 different designs - 2 each of 21 designs and 2 single designs.
Items used: Cake Soirée Stamp Set, Hardwood Background Stamp, Sweet Soirée Memories & More Card Pack, White Card Bases (one card uses Old Olive), Embossing Folders, White Bakers Twine, Delicate Doilies
Note: A few cards have stitching which can easily be omitted. Some use scraps of retired DSP which can easily be replaced with something current. All stamped images were fussy cut as I did not have the Thinlits when making this set)
Design #1
One of the large cards with a diagonal stripe was cut into 0.5” strips lengthwise. I used these strips for the edges of these two cards and put the rest aside.
The floral images from Cake Soirée Stamp Set were inked in Powder Pink, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Lemon Lime Twist.
Also used : Oval Stitched Shapes Framelits, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, White Heat Embossing, DSP
Design #2
Similar design to the first, striped card running down left hand edge, swapped out DSP, added Marina Mist Ink to the floral cluster, heat embossing on Rich Razzleberry opposed to black card.
Design #3
Using the diagonal strips left over from the first card, adhere to left hand side of card base. A thin strip of black/Old Olive card is attached to the embossed white card front before adhering to base.
The small Memories & More Card has been flipped in these two cards to provide a bit of difference. The card on the left has had a sentiment stamped directly onto the card, both have heat embossed sentiments.
Design #4
These two are identical and were very fast and easy to construct. The larger card has been cut down slightly to fit the card base.
The small floral cluster in the left hand corner has been fussy cut from a large card (predominantly purple with a large white oval, floral cluster one end, greeting inside oval)
The sentiment has been white heat embossed on Rich Razzleberry Card and adhered with dimensionals
Design #5
My favourite! Embossed white card front adhered to card base. Layer the two small Memories & More cards (slant the back card with the front card parallel to the card base)
Images were stamped in Powder Pink, Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo for the flowers - I used a sponge dauber to achieve the ombré look. Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive inks were used for the leaves/foliage.
The sentiment is white heat embossed on black card, adhered with dimensionals.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you can call by again over the next few days as I share the rest of the cards made with this gorgeous and FREE Sale-a-bration Memories & More Card pack.
Until next time, stay crafty
Gorgeous creations!! Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, thank you for sharing your hard and very creative work!!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!!! I am wondering what size your card base is for the 'for you' card because when I cut it down slightly it is still 5 3/4" tall. If I get it to fit a standard size card then I lose the border completely.
