One Stamp At A Time - Down At The Farm

Welcome to the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop for July. This month the Design Team are creating projects with a fun theme - Down At The Farm. You are currently visiting Jackie Aitken in Western Australia. 

Can you believe I do not have any current stamp sets that remotely fitted the brief, so what I did when visiting a demonstrator friend a few weeks ago was to stamp a few images from the Over the Moon & Fable Friends stamp sets. 

I decided to use the Bunny from Fable Friends because to be perfectly honest, I was not overly pleased with my colouring attempts of the cows lol, plus the Bunny is super duper cute!

My card uses the die from Lovely Flowers to create the grass, which was cut from Shimmery White card and sponged with Granny Apply Green ink. Next up is the fence, which was made using loads of the rope die from Smooth Sailing.

The Birch Background stamp was perfect for the Barn exterior which was die cut using the Stitched Nested Label dies. A few flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set were scattered around the die cut grass using a combination of Tombow and Mini Dimensionals.

To coordinate with the card I decorated one of the Kraft Pillow Boxes using the same Bunny & Floral Images. I love these boxes, they are perfect for little trinkety gifts or just filling with your favourite sweets.

Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon has been used to wrapped the Pillow Box. The bow has had a heat gun applied after the bow was created to give the ribbon a wrinkly look.

Banded Together

Hello Crafty Friends,

Hope you are having a great week. I am sneaking in a quick post today to share a few creations with the Banded Together Bundle. This was the first bundle to hit my wish list when I received the Annual Catalogue. I love dies that look like frames and the details in these die do not disappoint.

The first card I have to share has a Birch Background inked in Sahara Sand. The floral images were coloured using Night of Navy Blends with Granny Apple Green accents.

The second creation I have to share with you today uses the detailed bands die, cut in half and protruding from the floral bouquet. The flowers were coloured using Water Colour Pencils with the centre gold heat embossed.

I adore the sweet Scalloped Note Cards and coordinating envelopes. These cuties were easy to replicate for my customers who placed orders last month. And with matching envelopes they looked uber cute attached to their orders. Beautiful Friendship is the stamp set used for these four cards btw.

The final card has been coloured using Stampin' Blends. Yes that blue is coloured with a Pool Party Blend ;)
