Colour INKspiration #38 - Framelits

Good Day Crafty Friends,

Welcome to Colour INKspiration #38. You are currently visiting Jackie Aitken in Western Australia. If you are following the hop you may have arrived here from Kiama, NSW, having just visited my super talented friend Denita Wright-Smee.

Stampin' Up! ® has just had a major colour revamp so to start off the new catalogue year at Colour INKspiration we've decided to feature a Colour Collection for the first challenge each month (2nd Wednesday) until we have showcased them all! The second challenge in the month (4th Wednesday) will be a Pinterest inspired pic as per usual just to mix it up a bit. This month we are playing with the brights COLLECTION and you can choose any 3 colours from that range for your challenge project. We are also changing the rules about what else you can add to the mix; essentially just the Basics - Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black as well as metallics.

We have an absolutely gorgeous colour combination for this fortnights challenge - Berry Burst, Powder Pink, Gray Granite, Black and Whisper White.

My card is basically made up of a lot of white space with hints of colour and a few die cuts. I have used the Chase Your Dreams Framelits, Tropical Thinlits and Foliage Frame Framelits to die cut Black, White, Powder Pink, Gray Granite and Berry Burst card stock.

No automatic alt text available.

The Whisper White card front has been splattered with black ink and then embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. A die cut dream catcher and square stitched frame were adhered to the base with dabs of Tombow before adhering the foliage die cuts. A Baker Twine Bow has been added over the Stitched Heart with a glue dot.

A stitched heart creating using the Stitched Labels Framelits, hides the ends of the die cuts and under this I also attached the swing tag sentiment.

The card front has a strip of Black card adhered along the left hand edge. A panel of Berry Burst card was tucked under the card front on an angle and adhered to the card base before adhering the card front.
