What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that get together to blog hop the first and third Monday of each month. Each hop showcases a current Stampin' Up! Stamp Set. All of the hops are archived, enabling you to look back over previous featured Stamp Sets. You can find them here.
For this Hop we are focusing on the ever so sweet - FREE AS A BIRD stamp set.
Having seen so many stunning creations with this stamp set I was so happy when my BBB arrived last week and this was in it. I have been dying to get my hands on it and the only disappointment I have is that I did't get it sooner!!!!!!
I love the birds on the branch image and I also love it in plain ole Black n White so decided for this card I would add just a hint of Daffodil Delight to the birds and flowers. The new Scripty embossing folder has been used on the card front with the sentiment white heat embossed onto a vellum die cut circle. Angled layers behind the card front can be distracting so thought this worked well with the slightly coloured stamped images.
The card front for this next creation was stamped using the floral image from the Fanciful Fragrance Stamp Set, as was the written text on the die cut banner. Again, minimal colour has been applied to the card front images - with hints of blushing bride and sahara sand inks to coordinate with the cardstock used.
The final card I have to share with you today uses the fabulous flower image from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set. Coloured with blends and fussy cut, I applied them to a Gold Foil Frame with a combination of mini dimensionals and Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive. The Gold Foil bespoke frame has been created with layering dies and then adhered over a Shimmery White Card front that was sponged with Daffodil Delight ink.
That is all from me today crafty friends. Be sure to follow the Hop all the way through for loads of inspiring creations using the gorgeous Free As A Bird Stamp Set. Up next in the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop is super duper talented Jay Soriano over at Mitosu Crafts. Enjoy xx
