Welcome and Thank You for taking the time to visit my blog. Today, I would like to share two things, firstly my newly discovered love for water colouring with white craft ink, and second, the new Beautiful You Stamp Set - available in the Stampin' Up! 2017 Occasions Catalogue.
I adore the movement portrayed in this stamp, and I think she looks stunning coloured in white craft ink. I have also used the Sale-a-bration free stamp sets - Delicate Details for the lacy border details, stamped in white craft ink, and the sentiment is from the Avant Garden set, stamped in Archival Black.
I used Whisper White, Black and Sahara Sand cardstock and the Layering Squares Framelits. An aqua painter was used to apply the Craft Ink in layers. First layer will be patchy, so let it dry and then apply more. Continue this process until you achieve your desired depth.
Sticking with the same colour scheme - this card uses the Woodgrain Background Stamp and White Craft Ink onto Sahara Sand cardstock. The Flowers from Avant Garden were water coloured using White Craft and Pear Pizzaz inks using an aqua painter, and then fussy cut. Three circles were cut using the Layering Circle Framelits and the flowers adhered with a dimensional.
