Card Making is super dooper easy when Stampin'Up! offer complete suites - stamps, dies, DSP paper stacks, card stock packs, embellishment kits and Stampin'Write Markers all coordinating, so the guess work is done for you. Meaning you don't have to be overly creative to make gorgeous cards. The catalogue provides starting points to CASE (copy and share everything) cards and other projects in case you get stuck for ideas. Plus their are many sites to seek inspiration, like Pinterest, where Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and customers from all over the world share their ideas.
The Cupcakes & Carousels Suite is a wonderfully cute suite, with a slightly vintage circus theme. The colours are playful and I just adore the pony! Who didn't wanna ride the prettiest horse on the carousel lol
I have used two different colour schemes on these cards as I know not every girl loves pink?!?!
The Ferris wheel stamp with cupcakes cut from the coordinating DSP is so dang adorbs - very simple and easy cards, using black and white Cardstock, the Ferris wheel and sentiment stamps and some DSP from the paper stack. First stamp the Ferris Wheel in Black Archival, then add ink splashes in the colours used in the DSP paper stack. (I used my aqua painter to grab ink and then flicked the brush tip using the edge of the plastic from my Stamp-a-majig). Using dimensionals mount this panel to a piece of DSP which has been mounted to black card stock. Adhere to card base and stamp sentiment. Then to finish them off I just die cut the cupcake tops using DSP from the same paper stack and the cloud die from the Up and Away Bundle.
